Grivel in the United States

There are a few branches of the Grivel family in the United States.

• There is me, Eric Grivel (22-feb-1961 - ), who moved to the U.S. in 1995. Although it's just me; my kids moved back to Holland.
• Robert Grivel (5-sep-1921 - apr-1983) is not connected with anyone else.
• Jean Pierre Grivel ( - ).
• Jean Jacques Grivel ( - ).
• Joseph Romain Grivel (26-Jul-1867 - 5-Jun-1927) came with his family from Italy to the United States.
• Emilio Grivel Parmentier (1881 - ) moved through the U.S. to Mexico and started a Grivel branch there.
• George Grivel/Gribel (7-oct-1825 - 7-nov-1898) starts the Gribel line in the U.S., but he has on occasion also written his name as Grivel. He came from France, and the thought is that he changed the v to a b in his name as he entered the United States. This is also why the Gribel family is included here.
